Demarest advises Unilever on acquisition

Demarest has helped, consumer goods company, Unilever buy Brazilian food business Mãe Terra. Madrona Advogados advised Mãe Terra. Unilever strengthened its position in Latin America earlier this year with the acquisition of consumer goods company Quola, which has a presence in 10 countries across Latin America.

Henkel acquires company in Mexico

German consumer goods company Henkel has aquired Mexican haircare company Nattura Group. The acquisition involved the purchase of Nattura's portfolio business in Mexico, Spain, the US and Colombia. Henkel also acquired eight real estate properties where Nattura's facilities are located. The amount was undisclosed
